課程概述

This course concentrates on the advanced practice of theatre direction with a strong underlying theoretical component. The aim of this course is to prepare the students for working in professional theatre and to encourage exceptional talents to develop their own vision for the theatre of the future. 

課程目標
 The course aims to further develop the students’ understanding of the creative and the technical aspect of theatre direction. It will also provide a basic foundation in the “business” of theatre. At the end of semester each student will be expected to direct a text-based production for a public audience. This will give experience in managing all stages in the development of a production, from the initial choice of script, to the final performances staged in one of the departmental studio spaces or other venues outside the campus.

 學生必須已經選過初級、中級導演學，也須具有一些導戲或充當學期製作助導的經驗。

由於呂柏伸老師將於9月8日前往英國參加學術研討會，其導演(三)課程的甄選日期將提前於開學前一週舉行。

欲選修導演(三)的同學

甄選內容

(1) 請於8月14 ~ 9月4日期間至台北光點電影院，觀賞英國導演Peter Brook所執導的任何一部作品，並繳交1000~1500字的觀影報告 (推薦影片: The Mahabharata; The Tragedy of Hamlet; Marat/Sade; Brook by Brook)

(2) 繳交預期執導作品之企劃書，內容必須包括: 創作動機、導演創作構想、演出劇本簡介，計劃期程、合作夥伴名單(暫定)、演出劇本(如無電子檔請將紙本投入呂柏伸老師信箱) (備註:1、演出長度請勿超過1小時，且不得少於40分鐘；(2)本課程計劃將與舞台設計(二)學生合作，故舞台設計請找該課程學生)
